Saying "Thank You" Back to Our Community
Receiving thank you cards is always a nice feeling and because we have received several recently, we thought we’d extend that warm feeling with our readers.
We wanted to take this opportunity to say, “Thank you,” back to all of those who have sent cards thanking us for our recent contributions. We are extremely humbled by those groups and organizations and all they do for the Centennial community.
As your dentist in Centennial, we also feel an obligation to help out the community when we can as well. The comments from these letters illustrate how we have done so.
Here are a few of the kind words from each:
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
“Thank you so much for your toothbrush/toothpaste contribution to our holiday gift bags for the homeless. This is our 13th year handing out the gift bags through Stout Street Clinic which is run by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, a statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of homelessness.
Your contribution along with items collected from three neighborhoods…allowed us to deliver over 350 bags this year…”
St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church
“Thank you for your generous donation of toothbrushes for the medical/dental mission to Jamaica. “One toothbrush at a time” we are trying to teach better dental care to all ages…Blessings.”
St. Mary’s Academy
“On behalf of St. Mary’s Academy, I would like to thank you for your donation to the 2013 St. Mary’s Academy Gala…Your donation will benefit our 2013-2014 Tuition Assistance Fund. More than 29% of our students are recipients of tuition assistance.”
And we received another one from them following the Gala:
“Thank you for your support of the 2013 SMA Gala…In the 2012 – 2013 school year, St. Mary’s Academy awarded more than $1.4 million in tuition assistance benefiting 30% of our student body. This year’s gala raised more than $235,000! This letter serves as a receipt of your donation: (2) Custom Teeth Whitening Kits. Again, thank you for your support! We extend our deepest gratitude…”
These are just a few of the ways we benefit the community. Dr. Cote and Dr. Schope, and the rest of the team at Homestead Dental always enjoy opportunities to help others with our dentistry and we continue to look for opportunities to do so.
If there is a community event happening that you think we could help with, please contact us and bring it to our attention.
Other than that, keep those teeth healthy and smiles shining! We hope to see you soon.
